Because I'm a runner, I love shooting road races. It's tough sometimes, because I also want to run some of these races, so I have to choose. I can either run or I can be the photographer. This time, I'm the photographer.

I'm not an architectural photographer, but for this particular assignment I was asked to shoot some exterior & interior shots in addition to an editorial assignment. If you have a good working knowledge of exposure settings, then you can do this, but it's not easy. There is a lot of post production work involved. It's no wonder that really good architectural photographers charge a premium for this kind of work.

I meant to post this last week, but I was without Internet access at home for 5 days. Apparently some wires shorted out at the box down the road, so I had no phone either.
One of then best compliments I can get is when I get a call or an e-mail from someone wanting to work with me based on seeing my online portfolio.
That means they were searching for a photographer to work with or at least we're thinking about doing a photo shoot. They viewed several photographers work and chose me because they like the style and quality of my work.
This is how I got to work with Natasha, a personal trainer, and the rest of her team at Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta. It was such a great shoot that several shots made it into my updated portfolio.

Here's a quick post from a shoot I did at the end of last year. Once again, it was a referral and I'm always pleased when friends recommend my work to others. Conditions were not great on this day. It was overcast, windy and there was threat of rain.
